Position Title: IT Infrastructure Specialist
Department: Information Technology
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our Information Technology team. This role is responsible for designing, managing, and securing the organization’s IT infrastructure to support clinical and academic systems with high availability, reliability, and compliance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, a security-focused mindset, and the ability to support mission-critical healthcare systems in alignment with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and maintain servers, storage systems, backup solutions, and network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability.
• Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft 365, and Azure/hybrid environments.
• Ensure continuous availability and reliability of critical systems such as EMR, HIS, PACS, and academic platforms.
• Implement infrastructure security controls and support regulatory audits and compliance requirements (e.g., ADHICS, ISO, DOH).
• Coordinate with vendors and oversee infrastructure-related projects, including system upgrades and deployments.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, policies, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Monitor infrastructure performance and proactively address risks to minimize downtime.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 4–7 years of proven experience in IT infrastructure, preferably within a healthcare environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server, virtualization technologies, networking, and backup solutions.
• Relevant professional certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, or Microsoft Azure are highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
