Dr. Suzan Ibrahim – Consultant in Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Gynecologic Oncology Surgery
Dr. Suzan Ibrahim joins Ain Al Khaleej Hospital as a Consultant in Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Gynecologic Oncology Surgery. She is a highly accomplished consultant with over 25 years of extensive clinical, academic, and surgical experience across leading institutions in Jordan, Canada, and the UAE.
She holds the Jordanian Board in Obstetrics & Gynecology (2003), the Canadian Fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology (2012) from McGill University, Montreal, and the Jordanian Board in Gynecologic Oncology (2020).
Dr. Suzan currently serves as Chair of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at Al-Balqa Applied University, and as Assistant Professor and Consultant Gynecologic Oncologist at the Jordan University of Science and Technology and King Abdullah University Hospital. She combines clinical excellence with a strong commitment to medical education and research. She is licensed by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) as a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynecology, licensed in Saudi Arabia as a Consultant Gynecologic Oncologist, and holds professional registration with the Jordanian Ministry of Health.
Her clinical and surgical expertise includes:

Gynecologic oncology surgeries, including complex debulking and minimally invasive laparoscopic procedures

Management of advanced gynecologic cancers and challenging benign gynecologic conditions

High-risk obstetrics, cesarean deliveries, and tertiary-level obstetric care

Outpatient procedures such as colposcopy, cone biopsy, cryotherapy, endometrial biopsy, IUCD insertion/removal, and LEEP procedures

Chemotherapy administration, including intraperitoneal chemotherapy and IP port insertion

Multidisciplinary care coordination with oncology, radiation therapy, and palliative care teams
Beyond her clinical and surgical excellence, Dr. Suzan is deeply committed to medical education, residency training, and research. She has served as Clerkship Coordinator and Academic Mentor for undergraduate and postgraduate students, implementing innovative teaching methods and curriculum development strategies. Her dedication to nurturing the next generation of clinicians reflects her belief in inclusive, evidence-based learning and lifelong professional growth.
Dr. Suzan has contributed to multiple international research publications focusing on women’s health, medical education, oncology, and preventive care. She is an active member of the Jordan Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and has played a pivotal role in curriculum design, examination reform, and academic governance in various medical institutions.
