Specialist in Women’s Imaging, Breast Interventions, and Pediatric Radiology

Dr. Elham Ahmed graduated from El Kasr El Aini, Cairo University, where she also earned her Master’s degree (MSc) and later her Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Radiodiagnosis. She is licensed by both the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and the Department of Health (DOH), and brings with her a wealth of experience in various subspecialties within diagnostic radiology.

Her clinical expertise includes:

• X-ray reporting

• Gynecological ultrasound: Ovulation monitoring, follicle maturation, and diagnosing ovulation-related issues

• Early pregnancy scans: Including management of complications like ectopic pregnancy, ovarian cysts, and ovarian torsion

• Advanced obstetric ultrasound: Detailed fetal imaging, NT scans, anomaly scans, fetal position, placental localization, amniotic fluid assessment, and Doppler studies

• Breast imaging: 2D and digital mammography, sono-mammography, tomosynthesis, 3D breast ultrasound, and elastography

• Breast interventions: Fine needle aspiration (FNA), cyst aspiration, core tissue biopsy, lymph node biopsy

• Pediatric radiology: With a focus on emergency and oncology cases

Dr. Elham is also an active contributor to medical research with several publications, and she is a member of multiple professional radiological associations. She serves as an editor for several medical journals, reflecting her continued commitment to advancing diagnostic radiology.
