Dr. Ashraf Sokker graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Alexandria University, where he also obtained his Master’s degree (MSc) in General Surgery. He is licensed by the Department of Health (DOH) in the UAE and has a deep understanding of the country's healthcare system.

He is a Fellow of both the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. In addition, Dr. Sokker holds a Diploma in Laparoscopic Surgery and is certified by the Joint Advisory Group (JAG) on Gastrointestinal Endoscopy in both OGD and Colonoscopy.

Dr. Sokker’s expertise includes a wide range of gastrointestinal surgeries—both elective and emergency. He is highly skilled in advanced laparoscopic procedures, such as:

• Laparoscopic colectomy

• Laparoscopic rectal surgery

• Laparoscopic abdominal hernia repair

• Colon surgery for tumors or infections
