Introduction

Dr. Fayeq Abueida – Consultant Pediatrics

Dr. Fayeq Abueida is a highly experienced Pediatric Consultant with a strong background in pediatric intensive care and critical case management for over 15 years.

He holds an M.B.Ch.B from the Faculty of Medicine – University of Banjaluka, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and earned both the Arab Board and the Jordanian Board in Pediatrics from the Jordan Medical Council.

From 2008 to 2015, Dr. Fayeq served as a Pediatric Intensive Care Physician at Tawam Hospital in affiliation with Johns Hopkins Medicine International, Al Ain – UAE, within the Department of Critical Care Medicine.

He also completed his Pediatric Residency Program in Amman – Jordan, and gained post-internship experience in PICU and NICU at Al Nasser Hospital, Palestine.

Dr. Fayeq is proficient in handling both critical and non-critical pediatric cases, including:

• Chest Tube insertion

• Central Venous Lines (Femoral, Subclavian, Jugular)

• Intraosseous access

• Lumbar puncture

• Endotracheal intubation

• Umbilical arterial and venous catheterization

• Tracheostomy tube replacement

• PEG tube care

• Ventilator management including HFOV
