Dr. Sherief Nazer graduated from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt, and earned his Master's degree in Ophthalmology from the same institution. He also holds the Clinical Sciences Certificate from the International Council of Ophthalmology (ICO).

He is a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons, Glasgow, UK, and holds a Diploma in Ophthalmology from the same college.
