Dr. Sara Amr – Specialist Nephrology

Dr. Sara Amr graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University, and obtained a Master’s degree in Internal Medicine from Ain Shams University, Egypt. She also earned the Egyptian Board Certification in Nephrology and Kidney Transplantation from Cairo University. Additionally, she holds a Fellowship in Critical Care Nephrology from the World Academy of Nephrology.

Dr. Sara is a member of the American Society of Nephrology since 2014 and the Egyptian Society of Nephrology and Transplantation since 2015.

Dr. Sara has over 15 years of experience in Nephrology and Kidney Transplantation. Her expertise includes:

• Management of dialysis patients, including conventional hemodialysis, slow low-efficiency dialysis (SLED), and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT).

• Insertion of venous dialysis catheters for dialysis patients, as well as peritoneal catheter placement.

• Plasma separation techniques using both conventional and modern dialysis machines.

• Kidney transplantation, including patient preparation and follow-up before and after transplantation to ensure successful outcomes.

• Treatment of acute and chronic kidney failure using the latest evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

• Management and treatment of nephrotic syndrome (immune kidney disorders) of various types.
