Dr. Ayman Kandil – Specialist in Critical Care Medicine

Dr. Ayman Kandil graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Menoufia University, Egypt, and obtained his Master’s Degree in Intensive Care from Ain Shams University, Egypt. He also holds a Diploma in Internal Medicine and is a member of the Royal College of Physicians.

He is highly experienced in providing intensive care in the ICU and is proficient in performing major and emerging invasive ICU procedures, including:

• Endotracheal intubation, even in difficult conditions

• Adjusting mechanical ventilator settings and modes for different situations

• Insertion of central venous catheters with or without ultrasound guidance

• Aspiration of pleural and peritoneal fluids

• ABG sample collection

• Arterial cannulation
