Dr. Omar Sameer – Consultant Otolaryngology

Dr. Omar Sameer graduated from Baghdad Medical College, Baghdad, Iraq. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh and holds the Arab Board in Otorhinolaryngology from the Council of Arab Board of Health Specializations.

Dr. Omar has extensive experience in handling all ENT cases, including:

• Tonsillectomy

• Adenoidectomy

• Myringotomy and ventilation tube insertion

• Septoplasty

• Endoscopic sinus surgery

• Turbinate reduction surgery

• Sialendoscopy of parotid and submandibular glands

• Removal of salivary stones by endoscopy

• Management of salivary gland strictures

• Sleep apnea surgery

• Removal of tongue lesions

• Vocal fold surgery for both benign and malignant lesions

• Thyroglossal cyst excision

In addition, Dr. Omar specializes in laryngeal and tracheal trauma care and performs emergency tracheostomies for patients with acute stridor.
