The Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) course builds upon foundational life support knowledge, providing healthcare professionals with advanced techniques to manage patients experiencing cardiac arrest, stroke, or other life-threatening cardiovascular emergencies. Participants will gain expertise in the latest evidence-based methods for airway management, medication administration, electrical therapy, and advanced resuscitation procedures. Through interactive simulations and case studies, this course emphasizes team-based care, critical decision-making, and effective patient stabilization in high-pressure, emergency environments. It is an essential course for healthcare personnel involved in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies.

Target Audience:
Healthcare professionals such as physicians, nurses, emergency medical technicians (EMTs), paramedics, respiratory therapists, and others who are involved in managing or participating in the treatment of cardiovascular emergencies.

Instructors:
AHA-certified instructors from LSTC.

Exams/Tests:
Multiple-choice written exam and practical skills test.

Certification:
Participants will receive an AHA ACLS provider card, valid for 2 years.
