Basic Life Support (BLS)
Our Basic Life Support (BLS) course is designed to provide healthcare professionals and laypersons with the critical skills needed to respond effectively in emergency situations. Participants will learn essential techniques such as performing CPR, using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), managing choking incidents, and stabilizing patients until advanced medical assistance arrives. This course focuses on hands-on practice to ensure participants gain confidence in dealing with cardiac and respiratory emergencies. It is ideal for healthcare providers, caregivers, and anyone seeking to acquire the necessary skills to save lives during emergencies.
Target Audience:
All healthcare providers, including physicians, dentists, nurses, pharmacists, respiratory therapists, and radiologic technologists.
Instructors:
AHA-certified instructors from LSTC.
Exams/Tests:
Multiple-choice written exam and practical skills test.
Certification:
Participants will receive an AHA BLS for Healthcare Provider card, valid for 2 years.
